Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern every subscription to the Wakoo service operated by Wakoo SRL ("Wakoo", "we"). By creating an account or subscribing, the customer ("you") accepts them in full, except for any diverging conditions agreed in writing.

Wakoo connects read-only to the databases you choose and helps you find why they slow down, what to fix, and whether the fix held. You, or your AI agent, apply any change; Wakoo never writes to your databases. Wakoo applies the means dictated by the state of the art to meet its obligations; it is a best-efforts obligation, not an obligation of result. Continuous availability and inviolability against intrusion depend on circumstances we do not control.

Paid plans (Pro, Team) include a 14-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial and may cancel at any time before it ends at no cost. Unless cancelled, the subscription renews automatically at the end of the trial and then for each billing period (monthly or annual) until cancelled. The Free plan is available indefinitely with no card required.

Some advantages count per person, across all the workspaces you own, deleted ones included: one free trial (after a trial or a paid subscription on any of your workspaces, a new paid workspace is billed from the first day); one Free workspace (further workspaces start on Pro or Team, and Free workspaces created before 6 October 2026 are kept); each promotional code once; the founder price on one workspace only.

Environments: each instance is declared as production, staging or development (dev). Each production instance includes one staging instance at no extra cost; every further staging instance is billed at 50% of the production price of the same plan and billing period. Dev instances are free and unlimited on every plan; their history is kept for 3 days and they send no email alerts. A dev instance must not serve real users or production traffic; if it does, we may count it as a production instance after telling you. The Free plan covers one production instance, one staging instance and dev instances; a second production or staging instance requires Pro or Team.

Prices are stated per instance (one database server or container, with all the databases it hosts) and per month or per year, depending on the billing period you choose, exclusive of tax. Belgian VAT (21%) is added where applicable. For customers established in another EU member state and providing a valid VAT number, the intra-EU reverse-charge applies (0% VAT). Pro and Team are paid by card, through Stripe. Enterprise is on quote and paid by invoice (bank transfer).

Cancellation and refunds : Cancel anytime before your next renewal; payments already made are not refunded, except where the law requires.

Founder price: the first 100 paying customers get 30% off their Pro or Team subscription, for as long as it stays active. Every new account reserves a spot while spots are left; the spot is confirmed at the first payment actually collected (not during the free trial), in order of payment, and a spot once used does not come back. The founder price applies to monthly billing only and does not combine with the annual discount or another discount code. It is kept when the plan or the number of instances changes, and lost for good if the subscription is cancelled.

Beta engines: instances on a database engine marked beta (currently SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB and InterSystems) are free while that engine is in beta and are provided without any service level commitment. Pro and Team are billed for at least one instance; beyond that, only instances on a stable engine are counted when you pay. We will notify you at least 15 days before instances on an engine leaving beta are billed at your plan's price.

Wakoo and all related software, content and trademarks remain the exclusive property of Wakoo SRL. The subscription grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its term. Data you submit or connect remains your property and under your control.

Each party keeps the other's confidential information confidential. Processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and complies with the GDPR. For the performance data you send to Wakoo, Wakoo acts as your processor; a data processing agreement (art. 28 GDPR) is provided on request to any customer, Free included.

You may cancel your subscription at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. We may temporarily or permanently suspend access if we reasonably believe a legal, regulatory or contractual rule has been breached; such suspension does not suspend your payment obligations.

Wakoo provides guidance to help you decide; you remain responsible for the decisions you make and the changes you apply. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts paid for the service over the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damage.

We may update these Terms; the version in force is the one published on this page. If a provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions stay in effect.

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. The courts of the judicial district of Tournai have sole jurisdiction in the event of a dispute. Questions: hello@wakoo.ai.
